Skills Highly Commended Picture Framing Service

Here at Skills, we take care of our customers bespoke picture framing, all at Fine Art Trade Guild Standards.  Here is what separates our service from other picture frame retailers:-

The Fine Art Trade Guild’s Five Levels of Framing extend from Museum Level for preservation of the most valuable items, to a basic Budget Level for framing items such as posters. The framing levels were designed to help framers advise customers on the most appropriate methods and materials for framing and mounting their art and memorabilia.

Standards for framing materials prevent acid damage to your artwork, especially original drawings, paintings, photographs and limited edition prints;  ask Skills about licensed mountboard, manufactured to the Guild’s specifications.  The Fine Art Trade Guilds Five Levels of Framing give detailed guidance, so that the frame is sound and all of the materials within are fit for purpose.

Also there seems to be no limits to the items we can frame at our framing workshop.  We regularly frame cross stitch, embroidery, sports memorabilia – including rugby and golf balls, babys first shoes as well as our many years of experience of handling fragile and valuable works of art.
